Dear Hapkido Families,
The recent in-house tournament was marked by incredible energy, resilience, and pride. A total of 14 students were represented across the Kids, Teens, and Adults divisions, and outstanding performances were witnessed from all.
Throughout the day, strong technique, confidence, and discipline were demonstrated by every participant. From the youngest competitors to our most experienced adults, the true spirit of Kyosado was embodied at every stage.
🌟Moments to Be Celebrated:
Prishni Hurkhoo earned four gold medals, recognised as the top scorer of the entire tournament – an extraordinary achievement for one of our youngest members. 🏆
A remarkable 6 medals were secured by Danny Hill, whose consistency and effort set an inspiring example in the adult division.
Exceptional commitment was shown by the Hurkhoo and Albuquerque families, with strong results achieved across multiple categories and age groups.
It must be emphasised that the value of the day went far beyond the medals. Personal growth, teamwork, and the joy of participation were experienced by all. Every challenge was embraced, and every effort was noticed with admiration and respect.
Gratitude is extended to all families whose support made the event so memorable. The encouragement given from the sidelines and the belief shown in each student played a vital role in the success of the day.
Let it be remembered that in our dojang, progress is measured not only in medals but in character, persistence, and community. Strong foundations have been laid, and new goals will continue to be set together.
With sincere pride,
Kyosado Headquarters
